Privacy Policy

1. Who processes your data

The controller of the personal data collected on this site is Homeostase Vita — Medicina Tradicional Chinesa, with its address at Rua Engenheiro Frederico Ulrich 2027, 4470-605 Maia, Portugal.

For any question about this policy or about your data, contact us by email at homeostase.vita@gmail.com or by telephone on 963 040 975.

Tax number (NIF): 218520115

2. What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary in order to contact you:

DataWherePurpose
Name, phone, email and reason for contact Booking form Responding to the request and scheduling the consultation
Aggregated browsing data Measurement cookies Understanding how the site is used — only with your permission

The "reason for contact" field is free text. We ask that you do not include detailed clinical information there — that conversation belongs in the consultation, not in a form.

3. On what legal basis

  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for the booking form and for measurement cookies. You may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
  • Pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b)) — where the contact is intended to book a consultation.

4. For how long

Contact requests that do not result in a consultation are deleted after 12 months. If you become our patient, the data is then retained under the legal obligations applicable to clinical records.

5. Who has access

The data is accessed only by those at Homeostase Vita who need it in order to respond to your request. We use technical service providers — site hosting and the form delivery service — who process the data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality.

We do not sell or pass on your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

6. Your rights

You may ask us at any time for access to, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, as well as object to the processing. Simply write to homeostase.vita@gmail.com.

If you consider that your data is not being processed correctly, you may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD) — www.cnpd.pt.

7. Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and the form data is transmitted by POST, never in the page address. The typefaces are hosted on this domain, so reading the site does not generate requests to third-party servers.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date of the last revision is shown at the top of the page.
